A normal golden monkey trek can last for 2-4 hours less or more depending on where golden monkeys are located. Dian Fossey tomb trek
Embarking on the Dian Fossey tomb hike allows you to walk in the journey that Dian Fossey had while appreciating her legacy. Mountain climbing/hiking

Birding
Volcanoes National Park remains an amazing birding destination. Over 200 species of birds dwell in the various habitats in Volcanos National Park. The various birds to explore here include the Kivu ground thrush, African goshawks, dusky crimsonwing, Rwenzori bats, cinnamon chested bee-eaters, strange weaver birds, long-crested eagle, red-faced woodland warblers, collared apalis, Grauer’s rush warblers, Nirana trogon, paradise flycatcher, scarlet-tufted malachite sunbird, palm nut vultures, and Rwenzori turacos. The best time to visit Volcanoes National Park
Most of the safari activities in Volcanoes National Park are best done during the dry months of the year. The longest dry season runs from June to September and another phase marked by short dry spell occurs from December to February.
