ERIC MANZI

Eric Manzi was born in Uganda but grew up in Rwanda. He speaks fluent English and other local languages which gives him the ability to interact with communities well on tourist routes. His passion for guiding has allowed him to enhance his knowledge every day giving the tourist the most of their expectations.

His vast knowledge about the history, culture, birds, wildlife, nature, and conservation of Rwanda and Uganda makes every trip memorable.


He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree at the National University of Rwanda today University in Rwanda (Bachelors of Science in Economic Development and also has several guiding training certificates from the Rwanda Safari Guides Association in wildlife, birding, nature interpretation. And being on the executive committee of the Rwanda Safari Guides Association has given him an opportunity to learn more fast hand and contribute to the best skills/knowledge in guiding/guides. He is a certified First Aider (EMT) and licensed Guide in Rwanda/Uganda.


JEAN MARIE TWAMBAZE

Born and raised near Volcanoes National Park, Jean Marie is a Rwandese national whose love for wild animals propelled him into a career as a safari guide and wildlife photographer. Jean Marie worked within the hospitality sector from 2007 to 2014 as a service operator at various safari lodges and camps. After completing courses in guiding and interpretation, Jean Marie became a certified professional safari guide and has been planning safaris of varying lengths across Rwanda and Uganda ever since. Through this work he has met people from all over the world and has become skilled at guiding international travellers. He has a deep understanding of tourism in East Africa. Jean Marie is also a passionate wildlife photographer whose images have featured in various renowned magazines and blogs including National Geographic Magazine, Bradt Travel Guides and Voices for Biodiversity. His photos have also been used by a multitude of businesses including various airlines. Jean Marie strives for excellence and is always eager to expand his knowledge through learning new skills, networking and travelling. He enjoys taking tourists gorilla trekking, game viewing, birdwatching, hiking and on photographic safaris. Outside of his career he loves reading news, watching football, cycling and visiting the best coffee shops for a nice café latte. He loves making friends wherever he goes. Elephants are his favourite animal!


JIMMY BILIMA 

A Rwandese national fluent in Kinyarwanda, English and French, Jimmy, has been guiding numerous clients from different international tour companies and is an extremely experienced and knowledgeable guide.


During his 5 years as a guide and on several occasions as a Tour Escort, he has had the privilege of guiding many dignitaries throughout most of the countries in the East African region, including his country Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda and the DRC.


His passion for knowing and understanding the wildlife in these countries is matched by his love for culture and history which he enjoys sharing with his clients.


ALEX

Born and raised in Uganda, Alex has been a guide for 10 years now. His general all-round knowledge of the tourism industry enables him to be comfortable in any group of clients; whether they are birders, interested in history/culture or flora & fauna. 


JOANITA UMWIZA

Umwiza Joanita, or Joana, was born in Uganda but grew up in Rwanda, proud to be one of Rwanda’s first female Driver Guide.


Joana has over six years of experience working in the tourism industry: three of those years, worked as a National Park Community Liaison Officer- educating and creating awareness about park protections and nature conservation, currently Joana is working as a Driver Guide.


She is passionate about nature interpretation and traveling, which keeps her eyes open and encourages her to contribute to conservation, therefore keeping the world a beautiful place.


 She states that, “I enjoy Working as a Driver guide; it empowers and encourages me. Together with the travelers, I make every trip memorable!”

JOVIA MURUNGI

Murungi Jovia a tourist guide covering Rwanda , Uganda and I hope to cover East Africa.I have been in this work for a period of seven years. Have a bachelor’s degree in procurement and contract management. Went for different trainings and short courses in service excellence, tourism , field and nature guiding .I am specializing in herpetology and ornithology

I love nature , wildlife , conserving for the future ,taking people to different destinations and create memorable experiences for them .
