Park entrance fees for children differ as follows; international visitors children of 6 to 12 years pay USD 50, foreign residents in Rwanda (East African child) 6-12 years USD 30, African citizen outside East Africa 6-12 years USD 30, then Rwanda/East African citizen child of 6-12 years pays USD 5. Only children below 6 years do not need to pay park entrance fees while those above 13 fall in the category of adults.
Canopy walk schedule.
The daily schedule of the canopy walk experience in Nyungwe National Park ranges as follows. The morning session begins at 8:00 am to 10:00 am then the afternoon session begins from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. The day canopy walk session begins with a Uwinka reception with the briefing. From Uwinka, you can move to the Igishigishigi trail where you can connect to the suspended canopy walkway.

How to get to Nyungwe National Park
Nyungwe National Park is accessible by road from Kigali about 6-7 hours’ drive via the Southern Province. By air, you can use a domestic flight to Kamembe International Airport/helicopter tours from Kigali to Nyungwe Lodge. When you land at Kamembe Airport, you will drive for 40 km to Nyungwe Forest Lodge.
